Free trolley transportation and Antique fire truck rides around downtown. Businesses, Museums,Shops, Restaurants and Galleries open their own hours. Strolling Christmas caroling with the New Bedford Coral Society and Our Sisters School.

9:00 - 5:00: Whaling Museum/11-discounted admission to museum for adults, free for seniors and children
10:00 - 2:00: First Unitarian Church/49 Holiday Fair, corner of Union and Eighth Streets Crafts,books, baked goods, the “Thrift Shop” and more.
10:00 - 4:00: Ocean Explorium*/28 – track Santa’s journey in hi-tech on the amazing “Science on the Sphere” and enjoy festive family crafts and seasonal treats.
10:00- 5:00: Whaling Museum/11 - local artisan vendor fair in Jacob’s Gallery
11:00- 9:00: Gallery X/48 – local artist work and gifts.
11:00- 12:00: Whaling Museum Auditorium/11 - Southcoast Youth Jazz Combo
12:00- 2:00: Strolling street performances by THE GRINCH
12:00: Santa arrives at Custom House Square/46 and strolls to Michelle Carr Studio/18 for an afternoon of visiting with young admirers until 4:00
12:00 - 4:00: Bristol Building Hall/51 - Calico presents CRAFT-O-RAMA, handmade gifts plus live Djs
12:00 - 4:00: Children’s and Family Activities
Artworks/20 - Elves’ Recycling workshop featuring make-your-own Snowman Soup and Nature’s Bounty X-Mas ornament providing Children’s crafts and activities- located at Acushnet Ave.
National Park Visitors Center/15, 2nd floor WHALE providing a coloring project and cookie decorating with help of local girls scout troops Bristol Building,
SMILEs Mentoring Program/51 – Children’s craft Workshop and Art Gallery.
Sound Xplosion and Lumina Images recording studio/37 – record your own Holiday CD- and/ make a craft project picture frame.

3:00 - 3:45: Whaling Museum/11 – Cheryl McCormack Dancers
4:30: Santa leaves his Studio on Water/Centre Street, parade up William St. on antique fire engine – with NBHS marching band – joining the All City Middle School Band on the steps of the library
5:00: Tree Lighting Ceremony with Mayor and City officials.

Holiday Cheers!
7:00 – 11:00: After the tree lighting ceremony – stay downtown and enjoy some special cheer at these participating establishments: featuring entertainment and a special signature drink or dish.
